Today, while enjoying breakfast, my teeth took a chunk out of my cheek. This happens regularly, even when I'm talking. Both my doctor and dentist have no idea why, and I'm in utter agony. FML

Your teeth are holding your mouth hostage, demanding you shut up.

I hate biting my cheek. It's worse cause after you do it the first time, the spot swells and you bite in the same place a few more times. I hope you figure out what's up.

Its a simple solution. Dont do it

Damn, what that says to me is that you need a new doctor, dentist or both.

My mom used to tell me that whenever I bit my cheek, my mouth was missing meat. She fattened me up real nice XD

It happens because after the first time you do it the inside of your cheek slightly swells making it more likely to happen again.

I had this problem. My orthodontist gave me something called a " holly" (I think) and it stopped me from biting my cheek every five seconds. Hope this helps.

I have the same issue. Mine's actually because of scar tissue left on my cheeks from my braces. There's not much they can do. Corsodyl helps it to heal faster and keeps the swelling down a little, so you don't re-injure it while it's swollen. If you don't want to use Corsodyl, warm salt water rinses help, too.
