lol sucks to be you
op should have grunted like most ppl
lol @14. yea just grunt. works for me. my dentist is annoying too.
THIS is the kind of shit that stops me from going to the dentist
The dentists are out to get us all
Lol I'm trying to figure out what 15 read to make that his response. But yeah OP - Normally I just grunt or I just wait til they're done messing around, usually they don't continue to ask questions if you haven't answered the first one yet
haha this reminds me of that fb group about hating it when dentists/orthodontists talk to you while they are doing procedures in your mouth
71 your picture wins
44 OP said "slice my mouth open" which generated confusion in this young mans mind causing him to wonder, "isn't the mouth already open? WTF MY MOM LIED." That is what he was replying to.
you can probably get the dentist in reeeeal trouble for that if you wanna
Uh, I highly doubt it.
yeah prob not since he talked. the dentist didnt mske him talk.
well, i asked my uncle, who was a nurse, and apparently if the guy was an NHS dentist in the UK then you could complain and then they'd have to check for past complaints; apparently if they've ballsed up a few thing then you can be booted out of medicine by the general medicinal council, or whatever it's called. But, he was a nurse, not a dentist. If he was private then you can still claim compensation for it, because OP might've needed stitches.
you could sue him for negligence
mine just stabbed me 3 times in the lip with the lidocaine needle ...ahh FML
I always feel like I'm in great danger when the dentist and their assistant (if they have one at the moment) are chit chatting away while having sharp objects and drills near my mouth. I hate it even more when they ask me questions, then get all pissy if I don't respond!!
i know 1.. ,.i., >.<
Protip: wait for the dentist to take his hands and any sharp objects out of your mouth before talking to him.
Uhgggg I hate the dentist.
It's nothing against dentists. I just don't really enjoy having people play around with sharp tools in my mouth. Nothing personal just not something I look forward to. A dentist is a great career choice.
I intern at an orthodontist's office and they let me work with patients. I cut one of my patient's lips, I felt so bad :(
No, the orthodontist has to ask the patients' permission to allow me to work on them before I can. She said yes and got a bloody lip. Poor girl.
You are gorgeous but I wouldn't go that far. closest i've done is let a barber student give me a clipper line and shave. I know better lol.
Maybe you shouldn't of been talking? :o

I hate it when the dentist tries to talk to me when I obviously can't move.
