Today, thanks to our computer's browser history, I found out that my wife has been searching for local therapists who deal with cases of severe sex addiction. We've only had sex twice since we got married four months ago. FML

I think serving divorce papers is a bit rash. What if she was looking into it for a friend who didn't want it on their computer? There could be many other reasons she was looking it up. But seeing as they've only had sex 2 times in the first 4 months of marriage, it makes sense that the OP would want a divorce. Clearly they can't communicate at all. Why would OP let it get that far? My husband doesn't let more than two days go by without having sex. Most guys are like that.

Most guys? Hello stereotype. I know guys who aren't like that. Similarly if i were married i would be like that (or maybe a three day minimum, coz i understand work is hard). I also happen to be in possession of a ******.

Not communicating is a BIG red flag. Having sex 2 times in 4 months is a HUGE red flag. These two red flags fly on the same pole. Time to take it down, and plant that pole on some other island.

Strange as it may seem, this isn't as bad as it could be, actually it suggests good things - sex addicts don't get the same pleasure out of sex that other people do and it's not the same kind of emotional connection, so her not having sex with you may be a sign that you're more important to her than other partners - she wants help, she wants to just be with you, however sex addiction IS real so she probably will need help, especially if it's 'severe' Don't overreact, talk to her. You don't know anything beyond a computer search yet, and if she actually is a sex addict it's probably from a traumatic experience
