Today, my doctor confirmed that the extreme pain I've been experiencing is due to a kidney stone. My friend decided this was the time to tell me that passing a kidney stone is the male equivalent of child birth. Hello even more pain. FML

Today, my girlfriend's "sheltered" 15-year-old niece is sharing our tiny home. Shortly after she arrived, I started to pass a kidney stone. I've had 3 hours of vomiting and cold-sweating while pissing acidic blood and a stone in absolute agony. The niece is "traumatized". FML
Today, I was told I have kidney stones, kidney infections, and a bladder infection and that I have to get admitted into the hospital. I let my boss know, and she replied, "But you're still coming in for your shift tonight, right?" FML

it is so not the same as child birth. **** i mean if your kidney stone was a ******* 8 lb human then i would feel bad for you. but since it is much smaller. i say ydi for having a penis (hah betcha cant tell im 8 months pregnant)

First kid? Have you ever had a kidney stone? When you are in labor, remind yourself it could be so much worse. "At least it's not a kidney stone" should be your mantra.

Been there, done that. It depends on the size and shape of your stone how bad the pain is. I had to have surgery. A kidney stone is a definite FML. Good luck.
