Today, my cousin came to visit from America. While out shopping, she said loudly that she was having trouble finding clothes to fit around her huge fanny, causing a lot of people to stare in our direction. I had to explain to her that "fanny" in the UK means "vagina." FML

So I'm guessing they don't call those lil waist pouches "fanny packs" in the UK lol

In Sweden Fanny is a name. That's awkward.

I'm from America and have never heard anyone say fanny unless they were fanny packs or the elderly.

is your cousin's name "snooki" by any chance?

Try not to get so embarrassed by people! Life is so much more fun if you just laugh off all the embarrassing things

'Merica.

Oh wow. I'm going to have to remember that on my exchange trip to the UK

All I have to do is whisper 'fanny pack' in my boyfriends ear (Who's from the UK) and he bursts out laughing.

Wait what does it mean in America?
