Today, my boyfriend called me over for dinner. When I walked in the door, he asked why I was here; apparently he dialed the wrong girlfriend. FML
Today, I had a massive argument with my boyfriend, in which he called me stupid repeatedly. I stomped out of his house and sent a very angry text to my best friend about him. She didn't text back. Then my boyfriend texted, "My girlfriend is so stupid, she can't even text the right number." FML
Today my boyfriend and my best friend had a very lengthy, detailed conversation about Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, of which I know nothing about. Once they stopped, I looked at him and smiled, and he responded with, "Why can't you be more like her?" FML
Today, my boyfriend and I got into a huge fight. What was it over? He accused me of pronouncing MY name wrong. FML
Today, I decided to surprise my boyfriend at his house. Apparently, I ruined the surprise party he'd planned for me, and now he’s upset with me. FML
Today, my boyfriend accidentally called me from his pocket. I thought it would be funny to see what him and his friends were talking about. I laughed when I heard him talking about us fooling around until I realized it wasn't me. FML
Today, my boyfriend got drunk and had a fistfight with a dumb teenager, which was bad enough, but he also lost the fight, which was just pathetic and embarrassing. FML
Today, I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone, when I accidentally let rip a monstrous fart. He swore at me for being a pig, hung up, and has ignored all my subsequent calls. I try not to date idiots, but it's like I have a big old shithead-attracting magnet attached to me or something. FML
Today, my boyfriend came over and dropped off my phone, which I'd left at his place the night before. He immediately left in a sulk. As I looked through my texts, I discovered he was only so moody because I hadn't answered any of his calls or messages. I'm dating an idiot. FML

Wow, I can see why I got thumbed down now, too many die hard nerds are trolling this post. While I'm an avid fan of both Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, simple mistakes like this don't require you to be childish and get offended. It's called getting out of your mothers basement, should try it sometime.

I know, right. Granted, I enjoyed the movies myself, but they're just movies. I dont blame emo though, I blame a lack of care from too many parents in teaching their children some priorties in life. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, I don't live in my mother's basement, not emo, AND I have a wonderful man in my life that loves Star Wars almost as much as I do. But I'm not batshit crazy over it lol. There's a difference in loving something and living it. But you have to show respect to the ones that love Star Wars, otherwise you're just being kind of rude. :)

Personally, it doesn't sound like he was being completely serious. And honestly, if my boyfriend joined ANY conversation with my friends and didn't know what the **** he was talking about, I'd be a little embarrassed for him myself but I would correct him later. It's any topic, not just nerdy ones.
