Today, it was boiling hot so my boyfriend and I decided to sunbathe in the garden and ended up falling asleep for a few hours. Not only is my back so burnt that I can't lie down, I also have a white hand print on my upper back where my boyfriend had left his arm while we slept. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I went to the beach. I though he was being really sweet by putting sunscreen on my back as I layed on my stomach. I got home later, and felt that my back was sore. Then I saw the giant penis on my back that been burnt in. FML

Today, I was tanning by the pool. My friend put his arms under my back and knees and picked me up. He threw me across the kiddy pool to my boyfriend, shouting "Catch!" My boyfriend didn't catch me. Instead of a tan, I have a huge bruise. FML

Today, I wanted my boyfriend to come over for a backyard wiener roast. Because it was so hot outside, he told me he didn't want to. Eventually, I talked him into it telling him it would be fine. He's now still asleep on the couch with heat stroke. FML

Today, I went on a camping trip with my friends, but forgot to bring sunscreen. I spent the entire day outside and ended up with a severe sunburn all over my body. The pain is unbearable and I can't even move without yelping as if I was slowly being cooked in an air fryer. FML

Today, I woke up to find some really weird stuff in my bed. We just got back from vacation in Florida, and my husband burned really bad. I woke up to his peeled off skin all over my face. FML

Today, I decided to lay out and tan. I fell asleep and got sun burned and bitten numerous times by mosquitoes. If I scratch my itch, the burn hurts terribly. If I don't scratch it, it itches terribly. FML

Today, it was lovely outside so I decided to tan outside. I burn pretty easily, so I put on sunscreen. I fell asleep on my side, so when I woke up, I had a massive burn on only one side of my body, with sunglass lines. Tomorrow, I have a job interview. I'm going to go in looking like a racoon. FML

Today, I passed out while I was with my boyfriend in his garden. I woke up on the concrete just outside his house. Apparently, he'd tried to carry me in, but because he was too weak, he gave up and went to watch TV. FML

Today, what started as an amazing day with hiking, a picnic, more hiking, then a romantic nature walk, ended in a ridiculous screaming match between me and my boyfriend. I only asked him to shower before laying in our bed when we got home, since we were covered in sweat, bug bites and dirt. FML

aww that's kind cute... minus sleeping in the boiling hot sun. I live in Arizona and there is no way I would ever lay out in that heat. but that's just me. I don't sunbathe or tan or whatever you'd like to call it.

You guys are abunch of ass holes....fyl for falling asleep and getting turned into a lobster that sucks you did not deserve it.....i fell asleep on a lunch break for 2 1/2 hours on a 1 hour lunch once i almost got fired i did not deserve it....and no i wasnt partying or up late i have a sleeping disorder

Yes, but this girl DOESN'T have a sleeping disorder, or didn't care to mention it, so it's a bit different. I don't think the OP deserved it, but maybe in the future you'll protect your skin a bit better because whether or not it hurts, the sun does damage it.

I did that once at the beach. I'll never do it again. I was burnt so bad that it oozed. Falling asleep in the sun can happen to anyone, so I really don't think the OP deserved it. By the way OP, go get some Solarcaine. it works wonders!

what i do when i want to sunbathe is set an alarm on my phone just in case i happen to fall asleep. that way, i dont get burnt.

Ahh, leave her alone you guys. She's British, and this week is the first time we've actually SEEN the sun in about 3 years. Picking on her for wanting to bask in it like a vitamin-D-starved lizard is just mean! I dunno about her, but it's been so long since the sky wasn't grey that I'd managed to forget that sunscreen even existed until I started turning lobster red at around lunchtime today...
