Today, I was written up at work and sent home 20 minutes into my shift. My boss thought I was under the influence of something, but it’s really just the first time I’ve come to work with no makeup on. FML

Today, I had a morning shift at the restaurant and didn't feel like wearing makeup. I was energetic and greeted everyone happily, but my manager told me I looked tired. I said, "Oh no I'm just not wearing makeup!" He said, "Well, you might need it." FML

Today, all of my friends and teachers asked me what was wrong because I looked sad and tired. One kid even said that I looked like "an abused housewife the day after." I was fine. It was the first time I went to school without wearing any makeup. FML

Today, I decided to go all-natural and go to work without any makeup on. My boss swore I was on drugs, which I guess had absolutely nothing to do with the completely "random" drug test I had to take later in the day. FML

That must mean you usually put a lot of makeup on. Makeup is meant to only enhance your beauty, not create a totally fake beautiful mask.

how can anyone feel bad for people who wear make up all the time and when they take it off people think they look like shit because they've never seen them without make up? it's your own fault OP you don't let people see you in your natural state so they wouldn't know what you really looked like.

That's why you gradually decrease the amount you wear so your natural beauty isnt a shock haha. But seriously, I almost never wear makeup in the summer, but I start just decreasing starting in spring. no one got all shocked or thought I was sick. Best thing is to never spend more than 5 minutes on makeup.

All I ever mainly put on is eyeliner at best, but I'm mostly too lazy to put on make up anyway, lol so people know what I look like with and without it. i think it's funny ppl are thumbing me down for my own opinion. i'm not gonna change my opinion just because people thumb me down.

Not everyone is that confident. If wearing a bit of eyeliner or some concealer makes you feel a bit better about yourself, than I say go for it. Personally, I usually wear makeup except during than the summer, but I'm fine without it too. To each their own :)
