Today, my dad had a little too much to drink. When he's that drunk, he likes to pepper me with a lot of random questions. He asked if I've ever tried hard drugs, and if I want to die. I answered no to both of the questions, and he demanded to know why not. FML
Today, at work, a little girl was misbehaving. Her dad told her that she would look like me when she grows up. The little girl look horrified while Daddy laughed and kept reassuring her he was "just kidding." FML
Today, I was attacked by my dad because I got my hair dyed and he thought I was a robber. FML
Today, I went to pick up my daughter from my dad's house. He'd shaved her head bald. "For a laugh." FML
Today, I dyed my hair purple. I came out of the salon and a little girl walked past and said, "Wow, you look like a mermaid!", to which her mother quickly said, "No she doesn't, she looks like her parents don't love her." FML
Today, my dad told me that I was conceived while he and my mother were high on LSD. He then stared into the distance, mumbled "Probably explains a few things" and chuckled to himself. FML
Today, my dad sat me down and angrily accused me of doing drugs, all because he's noticed I've recently become a lot more energetic and emotional than usual. The truth is, I'd been smoking weed daily for 3 years and just decided to never smoke it again 2 weeks ago. FML
Today, my mom was giving me a long lecture about being aware of my surroundings, because you never know what's out there. While she was talking, I noticed a drug deal going down in the Walmart parking lot. She didn't notice. FML
Today, I left early from a trashy dance and bought a soda at a Shell station. The clerk asked me if I had been smoking weed. When I replied, "No", he said, "You mean you always look like that?" FML
Today, a little girl asked me if I was wearing a wig. It's my real hair. FML

And doesn't calling the dad a "narrow-minded douche" pretty much make you the same thing #60? Thought you flag flyers were supposed to be all accepting of others and their opinions, no matter how different than your own.

A drug is anything that affects the body or mind. Even caffeine is a drug. I'm 100% sure you have all done drugs before. Maybe not marijuane, cocaine, or heroin, but theres millions of drugs. Whether they are good for you or bad for you is another thing entirely. OP- That father is an ignorant twat. Keep your hair however you like it. It's your hair not his. If everyone had the same clean-cut haircut or liked the same things, it would be a boring life.

I hate to say it OP but YDI. I seriously thought about getting dreadlocks last summer and probably would have had it not been for all the negative stereotypes surrounding people with dreadlocks, if you're gonna do something like that to express yourself you just gotta be ready to hear comments like the one from that uninformed father.
