Today, I went to pick up my daughter from my dad's house. He'd shaved her head bald. "For a laugh." FML

Kick him in the nuts "for a laugh".

While he shouldn't have done that without your consent/her consent (depending on her age), it's not like this is the end of the world. Make sure she knows she's still beautiful no matter what. (Which I'm sure you do anyway)

I think I would rather experience some temporary pain than have my head shaved and have to spend months and months regrowing it...

Last time he should be alone with her.

If this was a April fools prank, then no. This is just too much, to be "just a prank bro"... and no, just no.

While that is true, you don't alter a child without the parents consent.

Consent to Looking after a child is not consent to let them do anything they want with them. That's like saying consent to looking after my house while I'm away is consent to completely remodeling it.

...I said he shouldn't have done it without her consent so I don't understand why you literally said what I already said. Anyway, what's done is done so the only thing she can do is make the best of the situation and make sure her daughter feels ok with it until her hair can grow back

I honestly can't believe you said that. Depending on the age of the girl it can feel like the end of the world for a time and regardless, how dare he physically alter her child!!! Who says 'what's done is done' after something like that?!? Completely absurd.

It could be worse... she could be hit by a roller coaster.

Or she could watch a comedy with Ben stiller, but that is too much punishment for any one person to handle.

My husband shaved his head and it permanently changed the way his hair grew in. Unless you are the parent this is NOT ok

He sounds like a very immature person. I'd be very hesitant to trust him with a child again.

Maybe shave his head bald "for a laugh"

Great idea! He might be bald already though, lol.
