Today, I was teaching my two year old daughter how to take a person's temperature. While I was sitting down, she came up behind me and shoved the thermometer in my ear hard. Now I can't hear out of my right ear, and I'm in excruciating pain. FML

at least it wasn't your ass she shoved it in..

I'm fairly certain that it would be less painful to have a thermometer shoved up your ass than to be pierced through your eardrum.

omg... I hope you're okay. FYL but with sympathy XD x

If you're in excruciating pain and can't hear, she might have pierced your eardrum - you should go to a doctor right away. P.S. You have my sympathy - kids are unpredictable and create danger in ways that defy reason.

25 is right, you need to go get that checked out if you haven't already.

Why would you teach a 2 year old how to use a thermometer? that's a bit idiotic.

Shove it up her arse and tape her hands together, all the while furiously pulling and reinserting the thermometer(?) at a rapid rate until she gets the ******* lesson.

Ouch.. YDI it though, she was only doing what you showed her.

go to the hospital to see if she punctured your ear drum. if she did have fun being deaf in that ear

nice one now she is gonna go around and be sticking things in other peoples/kids ears
