So… having a valid reason to be on another's property is actually considered trespassing in Texas. If that's how it works in your state, then I'll gladly keep my distance!

If signs are posted, it is considered in most states. People don't like solicitation for a reason. It's bothersome. I donate plenty to a non profit. It doesn't mean I want one at my door begging for money. I research before I donate so I know that the money is going where it should. Still no reason to pull a gun.

I don't understand why 1 is getting down voted. If she is old and possibly senile, and is pulling guns on people and possibly being violent than yes, it may be time to put her in a home. She may also need to see a doctor if this is a regular occurrence or if she is violent towards herself or others.

Forgive my ignorance but how on earth are those organizations even spoken in the same sentence as terrorist? I mean seriously. Sure some of them just take donations to give their CEO's bonuses. But some of the work is in fact a good cause. Therefore I'd be careful to make any comparisons like that.

Only had guns pulled on me when I chanced upon a group of men loading up a trunk full of marijuana in the middle of nowhere in central Indiana. In their defense, they were fairly pleasant when they asked us to leave, but the guns spoke louder than they did.
