I think it's sweet you told him through text. It's like you were thinking about him during a busy time of day, yet you couldn't wait another minute to tell him how you feel. He probably replied out of concern; I'm sure he didn't ignore you. If my boyfrined was supposed to be in class and he sent me a string of texts, I'd be curious, too. STILL, I understand why you'd take it that way.

Text message fml are kind of getting boring. Just talk to them in real life. It's hard to get any feeling from a text message.
