Today, I realized that the "holla" tattoo I stupidly got on my lower lip five years ago isn't fading as I expected it to, and will probably contribute to my unemployment for years to come. FML

Wow, you're really intelligent, aren't you? When your tattoo artist says the ink will fade he doesn't mean it goes away completely, the lines just become less defined and maybe a little lighter. That's why lots of places offer free or reduced cost touch ups. If you're a woman: get some long-lasting, opaque lipstick. If you're a man: grow a mustache. Either way, grow up.
