Today, I had no choice but to use a porta potty. I was happy to get a clean one. I wasn't happy when a young child tried opening the door and used enough force to break the lock, showing me sitting on the toilet to the world. FML

I know the individual is a child, but children should be capable of having the common sense to understand that a locked door means the toilet is occupied.

I would've demonstrated the ancient kung fu move called Poo Flinging Monkey.

If they’re that young to try and force a locked door open:
WHERE WAS THE KIDS PARENTS?
They should have been watching their kid and stopped him before he went Godzilla on the lock!

I think there’s a software bug here.
I started reading a story about a Porta-Potty and there’s no part about it tipping over, covering the occupant with shit, piss and the stuff that’s so nasty that shit and piss seem ok. Probably Russian hackers trying to ruin Western Civilization.

OP, you didn't have time to yell "Somebody's in here! Go away!" while Jr. was still trying to get the door open? Darn!
Ultimately, you have nothing to be embarrassed about. It wasn't your fault. But the kid will learn one way or the other, I guess.
But how many people actually saw you up close? Probably not many, but understandably still embarrassing nonetheless. Again, not your fault.
OP, keep your chin up! AND the door bolted next time! lol

That's when you teach the kids some choice words to punish the parents that obviously aren't paying attention

And I'm sure the kid's parents were nowhere to be found to explain that obviously if the door won't open, there's a reason. OF course, depending on the age of the kid, he/she should have known better. /facepalm
