Today, I figured out how my birth control works. If you're on your period for four months straight you can't have sex, so you won't be pregnant. FML

I had the same issue with one of the brands of birth control pill I was on. Changed it, and now it's all good and I'm back to normal. You should think about changing contraceptive :) There are lots of options out there :) hope you find something that suits you soon :)

I have the same problem too. First my period lasted for five months straight. I talked to my doctor, he said that it was normal in the beginning. I stopped bleeding for almost a year, but now I'm on my sixth week of period straight. FML
