While you wait for your doctor consult, may I suggest eating food rich in iron, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. Like blood sausages.
See your doctor *ASAP.*
I bled frequently and heavily until my hysterectomy at age 32, in 2012. My diagnosis was adenomyosis, which at the time could only be diagnosed after hysterectomy; I believe that now, improved ultrasound technology can detect it. It's a disorder where your uterus tries as hard as it can to turn every bit of iron in your blood into uterine lining. It nearly killed me. Please, please see a doctor, if you can. If you can't, then keep an eye on yourself for signs of severe anemia, and go to the hospital if you notice them. In the meantime, take iron supplements and eat iron-rich foods including not just red meat, but spinach and (conveniently for the season) watermelon.
