How on earth did such a food get approved by regulatory bodies?! And why would you consume these if you well knew what might happen?

They use sorbitol in sugar free candies and gum, sorbitol in large amounts is a laxative.

I guess OP never encountered that post about the Sugar Free Haribo 5 pound gummy bag on Amazon. look up the product reviews of you s er need a good laugh.
