It depends what he had to do in the morning. If had an important meeting it could go on FML but if you assume he was going to wake up and do nothing the next day it's understandable why you wouldn't want the post on FML. He hasn't said anything but if it is a real FML assume he has something very big to do tomorrow. Nonetheless, this certainly doesn't deserve to be in the best-of category.
