Today, I corrected someone who spelled "learned" as "learnt" on my favorite forum. Nothing could've prepared me for the torrent of abuse that followed from the non-American members. Now I'm banned for "trolling," and all my 7,000+ posts since 2006 are gone forever. FML

You mean it's possible for there to be more than one dialect of a language? I had no idea! You're an idiot. People like you are the reason the rest of the world doesn't like Americans much.

I Got in shit on Facebook because I told someone that hacking isn't changing someones profile when they leave themselves logged in. I had 4 people yell TROLL

I've been there, sort of. I was a member of a gaming forum and all the mods were 14-year-old Nazis who banned just because they had the privileges to. Why did I get banned? I responded to a thread, got trolled, defended myself by calling someone a jerk and an a-hole (exact spelling there). I came back and it said the ban was extended when I hadn't even logged in to do anything to make it get extended. My boyfriend PM'd the admin asking why and they perma-banned us both. People will ban just because they can, and it's stupid. /facepalm But yeah, in all that time, I don't think I've posted 7,000 times, at least not on one forum...what forum was this? And who cares that they're all gone? I'm sure the majority of them were replies to someone else's topic anyway...
