Today, I chuckled at a "No Smoking" sign as I lit my cigarette. I bent my head down to light it and somehow managed to light my hair on fire. FML

studies have shown that second hand smoke is bad for you, they put signs up for a reason. i smoke, i know it is bad yadda yadda yadda, but just because you choose to smoke doesn't mean you have the right to force the people around you to inhale your stupid aftermath. if you are going to be bad and smoke, at least be courteous to the people around you

You're very stupid. The No Smoking sign is there for a reason, just like when the Stop sign, the One Way sign, the Do Not Enter sign and the Wet Floor sign are put up. Don't be a rebel, be smart.

she deserves it because she showed a latent disregard for the health of those around her by not only IGNORING the no smoking sign, but actually laughing about it. if the FML was just about her going out on her porch to light up and catching her hair on fire there wouldn't be as big of an issue, it is the fact that she is probably some moron with an iq less than 90 thinking that by ignoring the sign and laughing at it, in some twisted way she is sticking it to the man and not caving to corporate conformities. if you want to be unique do something individual and amazing, don't break the law because you think you're too cool to follow it YDI

Us "sutpid idiots" [sic] are bitching because she's selfish enough to disregard the no smoking signs, not because she chooses to smoke. If she wants to end her life prematurely that's fine by me :)

I actually think there was no one near her so she didn't mind the sign, since at least I would say something if someone smoked where you aren't supposed to.
