Today, I accidentally rear-ended an undercover police car. FML
Today, I was involved in a car accident. I wasn't the driver of either car. I happened to be a passerby that was hit by a falling stop sign as a car hit it. FML
Today, I was driving a little over the speed limit, when I saw a cop car waiting to join the road ahead of me. I quickly hit the brakes so they wouldn't have a payday with me. I hit the brakes too hard, lost control and almost ended up on someone's lawn. FML
Today, I was driving home from work when I saw a cop come up behind me. Nervous about my expired license, I kept checking in my rear view mirror. In turn since I wasn't paying attention, I ran a stop sign. Needless to say the cop pulled me over and gave me 2 tickets. FML
Today, I was waiting in the McDonald's drive-thru and listening to some music. I was tapping my non-driving foot to the song when I accidentally tapped the wrong foot and rear ended the cop car in front of me. Whoops. FML
Today, like every other day, I didn't stop at the stop sign right before my house because it's pointless and there's never any cops patrolling my neighborhood. Boy, was I wrong this time. FML
Today, I rear ended a cop while talking on my cell phone. FML
Today, while I was driving, a police officer jumped out from the sidewalk and into my lane. I slammed on the brakes so I wouldn't hit him. He then gave me a ticket for "obstructing traffic." FML
Today, while driving home, I saw a cop with a speed gun "hidden" by the side of the road. I went to slow down so the fuck-knob wouldn't be able to ticket me. I then had a brain-fart and floored the gas instead of hitting the brakes. Hello speeding ticket. FML
Today, I missed my bus to school, so I took my bike. The bus that I missed ignored a stop sign on its way back, making me crash into it. FML

Sometimes if you make the same drive daily you go in a sort of autopilot...and if something is requiring a traffic cop it may be a festival or something (I.e temporary) and op just wasn't used to stopping there. Can't say I've done it, but come close, yes.

From experience, I know that all sorts of things magically pop up while you're driving. I think it's because my car is a wizard though. He makes poles and trees come out of thin air all the time! Or maybe it was that hit of LSD I took before I went on a drive..either way, my car is a wizard.

Accident or not op should be paying attention to the road. how do you miss a big red octagon in a police officers hand? Honestly if op misses something that obvious I am scared what else they may miss, such as a small child...

66, the OP failed geometry. He can recognize a pentagon but anything more than five sides and things get fuzzy. As for hitting children think how many sides a pedestrian crossing sign has.
