Today, my CEO called and spoke to me like I'm a child. Apparently, she has a surprise for me, "but only if I clean up my office first." She hasn't been to my office in months because she works in another state. Turns out, someone texted her a picture of my messy office. FML

Yeah, in a proper company you can't really afford to have messy office. Don't know why you think this is a surprise. YDI

If someone thought it was bad enough that your CEO had to see it then it’s definitely on you. It may be your office but it still belongs to the company. Don’t be surprised that you’re treated like a child when you do childish things.

so whats the surprise? you get to keep your job?

Just how bad was it? I think we need pictures to really decide. If it was the beginner of a hoarder situation or trash, ydi. If you are one of the people who work better in chaos, fyl.

It's a trap! The surprise is you're fired! She wants you to clean your office for free so she doesn't have to pay someone to do it for the next person (presumably the narc who ratted you out.)

Well, you do sound like you're a child. Clean your shit up.

Why is it messy clean that shit up take some pride on how your office looks smh

Lol, when did being messy became a "childish" thing? Grow up, faggots.
