Sing!

By nana - 19/05/2009 14:04 - United States

Today, after the church service was over, my two year-old granddaughter started to sing into the microphone. She said, "Here Nana, you sing". I picked up the microphone and sang "Jesus Loves Me". She took the microphone back and said, "No he doesn't." FML

# 41 What did I say that was false? The only part of that that was purely my opinion is the last sentence.

Awww. Don't take it personally. Just teach her that He loves everyone. Also, people need to just stop with the religion war. She's obviously a believer, and isn't going to change because someone on the web said He doesn't exist. Atheists are worse than religion pushing Christians, sometimes. And I'm a Christian.

#34: How is telling kids what is true brainwashing? God doesn't exist, period, it's a FACT. Lying to children and forcing them to make that life choice is a terrible thing to do.

agree with #17 it's not that i have a problem with the word per-se, but EVERYONE says it in their FML. Not only that, but it's completely unecessary. "I picked up the microphone and sang..." see? perfectly fine. god dammit lol, i said god dammit

Hash kid. But then again maybe she didn't know what she was saying. Two year-olds tend to be a bit naive.

I can totally imagine your granddaughter saying that, that is hilarious xD

The question is, what is a grandmother doing on FML?

it's funny because of your picture

*disclaimer* I didn't start this religion war. To # 45, I personally am a Christian, for my own reasons, and I challenge you to with finality prove that there is no God. Usually I would let something like this go but the sheer finality of your statement is ridiculous. I'll give you a little philosophy here: the only way you'd be able to prove *by fact* that God doesn't exist is if you were all knowing, in which case * you'd * be like a God, thereby negating your point.

why would one have to disprove god? it's the other way around, religious people have the burden of proof. Or do you really think when I'd go around telling people that smurfs are real, that there are pink blue-dotted clouds and so on, nobody would be able to call bullshit? disproving the existance of anything is impossible.
