Alas, poor Kermit

Today, I stepped out of the house for some fresh air. It was still dark out, so imagine my horror when I accidentally stepped on a frog. It squealed for a split second before being crushed beneath my uncovered foot. FML

Were you being sarcastic? If you weren't, well I'm pretty sure OP didn't mean that his foot hurts but instead because of how gross it was that he was barefoot when he smashed the frog.

You have my sympathy. I once trod on a slug while I was barefoot... most disgusting experience of my life, and he wasn't too happy about it either.

I accidentally drove my car tire over a bullfrog once in my driveway. It was dark out and I didn't see it till I felt a slight bump and a popping sound. I got out to see what happened....flat frog :(
