and maybe he didn't want to hurry you by saying he spent ten dollars. He is trying to be a good fiance and make you love him more, in which case he is a good person with gos intentions. AKA it was a white lie.

It's not about how much he spent or did not spend on the ring, people. It's about the fact he LIED about it! He is starting his marriage already based in a big fat lie! Think about it... if he so easily lies about something like this, what else will he lie about in the future? OP has every right to be concerned and upset.

Well if you read the fml it seems she is mad that it was 10 dollars or else she wouldnt say the "1500" dollar ring it be irrelevant if this were the case
