guess u should change your mind
AE sells rings for 1,500? I doubt this. YDI for believing he bought one at AE for 1,500.
she didn't think her fiancé bought it at AE you dumbass, who the hell buys wedding rings at AE?
come on u really suck. even ur husband knows ure materialistic so he lied to u.. feeling ashamed now?
its the thought that counts? but that would suck.:/
that Blows.
He could have bought a ring that LOOKED like her ring, key word. Don't assume he lied when maybe he could have gotten ripped off somewhere. Maybe he even bought the same looking ring with real gold and a real diamond and the ring she saw may have been a repica or one just for show.
I'm surprised no one thought about this.
gold-digging bitch.
my take is that this whole issue is not about being materialistic for wanting a 1.5k$ ring. I think OP is concerned because her fiancé told her (or answered her, if she asked) the 'actual' price of it. be it that he was sharing with her or just trying to make her happy, he lied. he lied over such a small matter, what other lies could he make in the future? anyway my personal opinion is that engagement and marriage only happens once in a life, why not make the best out of it? compromise.
1500$ is more or less double average monthly (NETT) salary in Poland. Most wedding rings used are much cheaper than that and people are still able to love each other...
It's not the price of the ring, darling. It's the love and thought behind it. I know someone who was proposed to with one of those artsy 'steampunk' rings. She loves it to death, as well as her dear fiance for being fun enough to get it for her. It was only $60. Her monthly grocery bill is higher. She doesn't care though!~
Nevermind, there it is. FML, please fix your site so I stop looking stupid.
