#1, lice is actually attracted to clean hair. and she didn't have lice until she borrowed someone ELSE'S hat who had lice. idiot

Wait did you give him lice or did he give you lice?

i'm also wondering who gave lice to who... either way. that's embarrassing.

girl-just dye your hair. it will help kill then all, and make sure to have someone check your hair every day or so to pull out the eggs. don't even bother with the chemical treatments, many times they don't work. boy-buzz your hair. how i know this:: when my little brother was in elementary school, like (prek-2) he brought them home a couple of times. like once a year or so my mom would get a letter stating that some kid in his class was found to have lice and that they need all the parents to check their kid, and the school would too the next day. but otherwise that suckssss!

ew! that sucks. at least lice come from clean hair and not dirty hair :)

.... But you didn't know about the lice until AFTER you wore his hat.... could be that HE was the one who gave them to you!

Eeeewwww, time to move on to someone else. Explains why he never took it off, or better yet, why noone ever tried to borrow it!

I'm assuming she MIGHT give him lice. The fact he wears a baseball hat 24/7, means that the lice will have a much harder time moving around than someone who has clean hair, and no hat. Although it is possible, it's not as likely for someone who wears a hat constantly, or has dirty hair to get lice. Even if she did have it, and then transfer it to him, it's possible they wont stick around because he's always wearing the hat. It's not guaranteed, but it's possible. All else fails, act like nothing happened, and he might not blame you... Or it might not be his fault (if you just got it) There's many other ways to get lice. Besides, if he wears that hat all the time, and he gave it to you, then he obviously likes you... Duh.

Didn't anybody (Parents, teachers, etc.) ever tell you about NOT sharing caps or other forms of hats for this reason? Sorry, but you kinda deserved this.

Blue Coconuts said "act like nothing happened, and he might not blame you"... I'm pretty sure this advice is lacking a bit in the morality department; that is exactly the mentality that allows stds and such to spread.
