Today, my wife announced that she wanted a divorce. She'd actually started dating another man a few months ago, but she wanted to drag our marriage out as long as possible just in case her new relationship fell through. FML

he must have done something. It's not always just 1 person in a divorce. Just because she asked for one, doesn't put him in the clear. My parents divorced when I was 11, and my dad tried to make it seem like he didn't do anything, when just the little things can cause a divorce. In other words, in some respects, he does deserve it, he chose to marry her.

i'm not sure if i like the way your logic train is headed, though your point is interesting. yes, there are two sides to every story, and it's usually not a single person that causes a divorce (unless, of course, your wife is using you as a rebound anyway), but it seems like what you're saying is that he potentially deserves it for simply being in the marriage. it's like saying that if i'm in a train that derails and crashes into an embankment, i deserve to be hurt or killed merely by being in the train. get me? :p |the kid|
