Today, I woke up from an amazing dream. I dreamt that I got a promotion at work and doubled my income, the dream was so great that I tried so hard not to wake up. When I did wake up it was 10 o'clock, two hours late for work I noticed I had a voicemail from my boss. I was fired for being late. FML

Today, I'm exhausted. My antidepressants ran out, making me overreact to everything. My friends dragged me into really childish drama, resulting in me ditching them. Then my work laptop broke on the most important day of my project. Then I got my first break from work in about a year… and woke up with COVID. FML

Today, I woke up and wished I hadn’t. I’m broke, tired, hungry and sick of my family, who is rich by the way, not even contributing a penny to help me from being evicted. Oh, and I lost my job last week. FML

So sorry your brain was mean. I hate when that happens! As someone who deals with depression and severe anxiety I'm not going to give any advice as I know it's not always helpful. But I will say I hope you find happiness, even if it's in the tiniest things. Hang in there OP!

How's that? He listed specific things that he accomplished in his dreams that made him happy. I wasn't talking about your eggplant dream, but OPs dream. All he has to do is start somewhere, anywhere, trying to make things better for himself, why not follow after his dream? Yes it'll be a long road, there is no instant gratification in happiness, but if anyone wants anything badly enough they have to be dedicated to getting it.

There's theory's where you can actually dream the future/prediction. It will not be persist but it's been shown to be quite accurate. This sorta thing has happened to me but not in a serious sense as yours OP.
