Feeling ripped off

Today, I woke up feeling out of step with life. Work owes me money for 6 months-worth of projects I did. I collected loans to take care of my sick dad and manage myself, and now my bosses are refusing to pay what they owe, so my account balance is blank. FML

I'm so sorry all of this is happening to you. Your bosses cannot do that, either they pay or you have to drag them to court and sue. This is not ok.

you work from paycheck to paycheck but the big boys work from paying up front with contracts.
