try to find a "happy place", like looking at cat memes, or some of those funniest home videos etc. a completely brainless thing you can enjoy and laugh at for a bit that doesn't let others problems really creep in (stay off social media during this). avoid SM for a while as well all together, FB and others can be super toxic and all around bad for mental and emotional health especially when already depressed. I know from experience, and these helped me.
