Today, my life finally seemed to be getting on track after recovering from major depression, paying off most of my debt, and scoring an amazing job. And then I woke up. FML

Hey OP, I know how hard major depressive disorder can be as I have it as well. So many of these people are saying things like "make it happen then!" And they mean well but I know how depression can make it extremely hard to even get up in the morning sometimes so just know I'm here for you and hope you find the strength to slowly make your dreams reality someday. :)

Love this. People always mean well but if they haven't been there it's hard to "get it" if that makes any sense. I know they always want to help and if people have been depressed they feel they understand but having major depressive disorder is very different t than having been depressed for a time in your life. I'm not saying it's easier at all, depression is depression if it's for an hour or a lifetime, its just a different kind of monster. I appreciate this comment a lot. I'm hoping to slowly change my life for the better as well ? Also anyone else struggling out there I know how annoying it is to read this (trust me I ******* hate it) but it really can be better. Hang in there.
