I've lived in france for almost nine years, out here nobody makes fun of that name not even english people, but I have a feeling your child is'nt going to be happy with it, congrats to you and your wife all the same

The child is going to get teased. Fanny can mean your bottom or even the ****** in other parts of the world. Please explain that to the mother.
