Today, my dad woke me up by shaking me and saying "If you're not up in two minutes, I'm lighting a firecracker in your room." Thinking he wouldn't possibly set off a firecracker in the house, much less my room, I decided to call his bluff. My room still smells like gunpowder. FML

Fire crackers can't set a fire! The explosion doesn't last long enough (unless you put it in an extremely flammable liquid). Now, Roman Candles would be a different story :p No one here is considering that maybe the rest of the family was stuck waiting around for this person to wake up so they could all do some celebrating! Your dad is a total baller btw.
