Today, I was showing the guy I like something on my phone. My period tracking app decided it was the perfect time to tell me that I need to stock up on tampons, because I'm getting my period tomorrow. FML

If you don't want your period, just go on a type of birth control that keeps you from having one. I have been on depo for 5 years and haven't had a period in about 3. It's great.

Same thing happened to me once. Was it Pink Pad? It can be really helpful, but pretty damn annoying.

I will never understand the embarrassment that so many women feel about their periods. It's an inescapable (without hormonal birth control, which not everyone wants/can use), biological function that a very large percentage of the population goes through.
