Today, I was performing in an orchestra concert. My stand partner and I commented on people in the audience the whole time, saying how fat they were, etc. Towards the end of the concert, I realized we were sitting right by a microphone, and the whole audience could hear us. FML

Today, I went to an orchestra concert. Halfway through the performance I had to fart really bad, so I decided to try and sneak it in while the orchestra was playing a loud exciting part. Just as I let it rip, there was a dramatic pause in the music. Everyone heard. FML

Today, I was a guest performer for a school orchestra concert a grade above mine. When they called my name, I didn’t hear them, so when they started the song hundreds of people watched me run on stage. FML

Today, I farted at a crowded concert, and people started commenting on said fart. I specifically went out of my way to eat certain foods all day so that it wouldn't happen. FML

Today, I went to see my favorite band in concert. Not only did the people next to me have a loud conversation through the entire set, the guy behind me repeatedly tried to lecture me for head-butting him. Given he was a foot taller than me, I'm not even sure how that was possible. FML

Today, I was in band rehearsing for a big concert coming up. Since the band was practicing with the orchestra and there weren’t enough seats, we had to stand. My back was facing everyone when my friend tapped me on the shoulder and pointed to my ass. I got my period and everyone saw the stain. FML

Today, while riding on the car with my family, I put on my headphones and pretended to be listening to music and when my parents talked to me, I pretended I couldn't hear them. They took this opportunity to discuss how fat I was and how I can't hold down a boyfriend. They were laughing as well. FML

Today, at a company event, there was a break. The Blue Danube was playing. Bored, I absentmindedly start singing, “My butt is ugly” to the melody. I forgot that my mic was on and the whole auditorium heard. Not only was I sent home, but my boss wants to “discuss” it on Monday at the office. FML

Today, I went to a concert. One of my favorite bands was performing, and I'd had the ticket for seven months, with a great seat for the show. It was all going perfectly, that is until a guy twice my height sat in front of me. FML

#51 - depending on how the stage and auditorium is laid out, you might not be able to hear what's going out over the PA. That's why people have to use monitors onstage: speakers are directional. Also, I play in a symphonic band, and often talk with my stand partner, at appropriate times. She didn't say that it was while they were playing. Soft chitchat while percussion is rearranging and retuning and when the conductor is preparing his score is perfectly acceptable. The audience is often doing the same thing. The auditorium and stage are full of people, not perfectly silent robots.

To the microphone you shoulda said "and that, ladies and gentlemen, was our little comedy act for the evening. Hope you enjoyed it and it gave you some laughs thru this tedious concert". Haha jk nahh but how did you not notice that your voice was being broadcasted over the audience unless you were playing and if you were playing why were you talking and not paying attention to the music and/or the conductor?!
