Today, I was dumped by my boyfriend of almost a year because he was no longer sexually attracted to me because I'm "overweight," even though I only weigh 130 pounds. Afterward I went to my friend's house and sat in an old wooden chair. It broke into pieces as soon as I sat down. FML

Today, I was dumped by my boyfriend of 2 years. I'd been involved in an accident that severely hurt my right leg. As a result, I couldn't work out and gained 35 pounds, also due to stress eating and some meds I’m taking. Apparently I’m no longer attractive and he can’t have people thinking he’s a “chubby chaser.” FML
Today, I was arguing with a friend over whether or not I'm fat. She kept telling me that I was. Angry, I sat down on the chair beside her. It broke. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 5 years dumped me, after he intentionally made me fat so that I wouldn't leave him. FML
Today, while at a family gathering, I sat down in a chair and it broke. Embarrassed, I picked myself up and sat down in another chair. That one broke too. I'm now the "fat girl" of the family despite weighing 90 pounds. FML
Today, after my ex helped me drop over a hundred pounds, I broke up with him because I looked and felt so much better, and knew I could do better. Turns out he was the only thing keeping me slim, as I've put back on over twenty pounds. I asked him to take me back and he told me to fuck off. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me because I'm now about 15 pounds overweight. When I called him a hypocrite as he's over 40 pounds overweight, he said that his weight didn't matter because "it's the girl's job to look hot." FML
Today, my girlfriend dumped me because I've recently become serious about getting fit, and have lost nearly 84 pounds. Apparently, when I was fat, I made her look smaller in comparison. When I got slimmer, she insisted I either gain the weight back or she'd leave. So she did. FML
Today, my girlfriend of 5 years dumped me because she got tired of me being thinner than her and, in her own words, making her look bad. FML
Today, my boyfriend of seven years dumped me because he said my cheeks getting way too fat for his taste and he didn't want to be with a chipmunk. FML
Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML

What has happened to people's perception of beauty? I agree, it totally depends on height and the way your body is. If I was 105-110 like some girls, I would be nothing but bones. So, ignore the asshole. I'm sure you look wonderful the way you are. He obviously isn't worth it.

I'm around 5'3", and 115lbs, and I feel normal. When I look at photos of myself when I was 130lbs a few years ago, I see a fat girl.

No one blames a guy for dumping someone he's no longer attracted to, but he could have done it a lot more tactfully. Even if he had said, "I'm not attracted to you anymore," it would've been a lot more preferable to calling her fat. Some of you have incredibly unrealistic views of weight. You can have 2 people with the exact same height and the exact same weight and they can look completely different. There are so many different factors that play into it. There's absolutely no way that we can judge what this girl looks like simply with an ambiguous comment about how much she weighs. I also love all the people who are coming in here just to talk about how OMG skinnez they are. And to the people saying she's obviously fatter because she broke a chair? WTF seriously??? Chairs break for all sorts or reasons. Old age. The way you sit on it. No matter what your weight, if you are sitting on it a certain way and your weight is distributed unevenly, the chair might break.
