This isn't a dystopian young adult novel. Where did he get that idea? As far as I know, that kind of genetic manipulation is still controversial, if not downright illegal.

It's amazing how many people here don't even consider that could have been sarcasm/joking. It would not be shocking to me to learn that many of these women who instantly respond so viciously to humor are perpetually single.

I don't believe that it was funny it my mind it was a stupid thing to say however i do believe the Her bf meant as a joke so leaving him may be a stretch, just give him a good slap and forbid him from sec for a month or two

Can you really blame him for not knowing exactly what you mean by "test tube baby" means unless he's one, himself? Or, could it just possibly be that he was joking around? JUST maybe?
