Today, I saw a homeless guy in the street. It really upset me how everyone's spirit of giving vanished as soon as Christmas was over, so I said fuck it and gave him about $50 worth of money. I barely made it 10 feet away, when another guy mugged him for the money I just gave. FML

Today, I tried to give some change to a homeless man. My girlfriend pulled me away and ranted about how homeless people are all basically bastards who deserve their misfortune, and that I shouldn't give "our" money away. FML

Today, I realized that I'm a terrible human being. For the first time in my life, I gave some change to a homeless guy, but only so he'd get out of my face long enough for me to watch two other bums beating the crap out of each other over a sandwich. FML

Today, I was walking home, when I saw a homeless man trying to tear the wallet out of another guy's hand. I can't stand bums, so I smacked him across the jaw. That's when the other one kneed me in the balls and made off with my wallet as well. FML

Today, I was riding on my bike when I saw a homeless guy holding a sign saying, "Need money, stranded from Oklahoma." I decided to be nice, and hopped off my bike to give him $2. He took the money, and then jacked my bike. FML

I don’t know about Denmark. Where I live in the USA I feel mugged by all the so called homeless looking for a free hand out. Very few are homeless by choice.

@24- The homeless are arguably the only social class in America that actually deserves free handouts; while rich politicians with silver spoons up their asses are the only people who seem to easily get their "free handouts". Perhaps you should live starving under an underpass with nothing more than the clothes on your back and a couple of blankets for a few months. I'd be delighted to see how "mugged" you feel then. I mean, somebody who wants to keep their position on their high horse would totally volunteer for that, right?

Reading this FML broke my heart :( I can't believe that some people are cruel enough to rob a homeless person. Either way, you did a good deed OP and hopefully karma will take "care" of the thief.
