Contrary to popular belief, few women actually deserve or need their child support. Most treat is as a get-out-of-work-free card.

Actually, most women depend on that money. Especially young mothers who haven't had a chance to finish college yet. If a young mom in school is suddenly left without a husband, she desperately needs that money to cover childcare if she wants to graduate. There are thousands of other reasons. Just thought you needed an example.

My dad has been in a similar situation since i was 10 months old, mom was suppost to pay 50 dollars a month child support since she left, it may not seem like much but 50 a month for 17 years adds up to a lot, not a dime yet

Take him to court!! My dad is the same way to this day he still doesn't pay he only pays when he gets threatened to go bak to jail. He doesn't care and u don't want ur kids to end up thinking there father didn't care. Trust me ur kid won't want that eather.
