Today, I ran over a cat while driving home. I tried to keep myself together but couldn't help but cry because of how bad I felt. Through my tears I failed to notice a porcupine in the middle of the road. Yep, I hit him too. FML

You should practice running animals over then. Next time you won't be all teary eyed and will be able to see the thing your running over.. instead of just hitting them by fluke. :-P

YOU DIDN'T STOP?! What about the owner?! Some ****** ran over our cat and left him dying in the road. It's dicks like you that cause the animals so slowly and painfully die. At least take it to a vets. Not just mangled in the road for its owner to find it. And PULL OVER IF YOU'RE THAT UPSET YOU ASSHOLE. It's not FYL. IT'S f the life of whoever's cat that was and f the life of the animals you left dying in the road.

You know, not every cat has an owner. There are SO many stray cats where I live!! I've seen quite a few wondering in fields no where near houses and in the woods. Not every cat has an owner (as sad as that is) and If she ran over a cat and there were no houses around and the cat was already dead and there were no tags, why waste the Vets time? Its not going to change anything. the cat would still be dead. Now if she was in a neighborhood (which I doubt because she ran over porky here), she should have stopped and tried to find the owner

Please stop being such an asshole. u should of locked ur cat up in the house and dnt give me this bullshit that it was an outside cat cuz if u were doing what u were supposed to do it would be alive. I was taught in my drivers ed class not to even swerve if an animal like a cat or squirrel was in the road that way there wouldnt be a major accident with a car. So OP im sorry that u did it. its not like u did it intentionally so there is nothing u should really feel bad about

If you were that upset about it, you should have pulled over and tried to right your wrong. you ran over a cat! its not the same as accidentally running a squirrel or something. It was someone's pet. at least stop and see if its still got a chance to live (you could have taken it to an animal hospital) and if it was already dead, then find out who may have owned it. instead you just kept going and killed ANOTHER innocent animal. YDI

She/he deserved it for numerous reasons imo: 1. If you hit an animal, check at least if it's still alive and if so, help. We always claim to be the only species on this planet with the ability to reason. So show something of these great accomplishments over other animals and don't act like we were born brainless. 2. If you are so upset after hitting an animal, pull over on the side of the road until you get your thoughts back together. Because her/him (didn't notice the gender) not doing that caused the second accident and made op deserve it.
