Today, I had RA training and we were doing mock situations. During one of these, I had a seizure. Everyone thought it was fake, until I started violently throwing up. FML

Atleast you were in good hands when they finally noticed

That's terrible, but they must have thought you were a great actor for a few seconds.

I'm glad they seized the moment when it finally struck them.

Getting down voted means I'm doing something right, I think.

"you never know when you'll be able to seize the moment" would have been better ( but still bad), bc yours kind of doesn't make sense to me.

Don't let the haters get you down, this was a quality pun

They really couldn't tell a fake seizure from a real one?

When you're expecting fake situations, I'd assume it would be more difficult.

Well it depends on the seizure. She could of had a Petite Mal seizure where you could literally look like your staring off into space and shake a little. It's very easy to miss. A Grand Mal seizure is very noticeable.

And it honestly wouldn't be a bad thing for them to act out, because what if a resident were to have a medical issue while they were on duty?

My younger brother had a seizure when we were about 9 years old. At the time, I thought he was throwing a temper tantrum because he didn't want to go to bed. In reality, his blood-sugar levels were extremely low (he's diabetic). My point is, sometimes you don't know the difference.

Eek sorry to hear about that. I hope you're doing well now. Best of luck OP.
