You should've said: "SPOILER ALERT: I'm going to break someone's legs and have for sure that is not going to be the janitor!" or you can talk to her/his boss. People would hate to go to that store just to find out the ******* ending by a cashier.

Oh I've had that happen tons, usually where I just go like "oh so that's what happens!". They normally catch on and realize I haven't seen it and apologize. The endings to things are still shocking, good, surprising, so on and so on, no matter if you're told or not though
