that doesn't even make sense.. wouldn't you have put her name on it? in that case the mail main probably would have realized or at the very least her neighbor would have given it to your girlfriend. lastly, why couldn't you give it to her in person?

Federal offense to open somebody else's mail... did you at least put your girlfriend's name on it? If so, perhaps you can scare *her* into leaving you alone ("Well, I called the police, and...").
