Today, I gave in and let my friend give me a makeover. She couldn't find my eyelash curler, but decided that if she used scissors lightly, it would work just the same. Needless to say, it did not work. FML

1. Sharp objects near the face are never a good idea. 2. To curl lashes without eyelash curler place mascara brush at base of lashes and hold for five seconds. Apply mascara by wiggling brush lightly through lashes. Now was that so hard?

YDI come on. I wouldn't put scissors next to my face, let alone someone else. And if scissors can easily cut paper wouldn't it cut your lashes a thousand times easier.

Yes. Yes they do. They also shed and fall out naturally, just like any body hair. Which is what has to happen before they grow back. But don't pluck them to make them grow back faster; it could work or it could damage the follicle resulting in hair loss.
