Maybe you should be more trustworthy... he obviously doesnt want to spend money on movies and cant trust you wont go buy one...

Perhaps you are renting so many movies that your cable bill is astronomical? Perhaps he asked you about it already and you have't cut back on that bill so this was a last resort? Could you please add these details to your next FML?
