Sometimes my shoe becomes untied, so I have to tie it again.

Oh, sorry. I thought we were all posting things completely irrelevant to the first comment so that EVERYONE could view our profound contributions.

Lately there has been many FMLs about rude mothers. But FYL OP, you should ignore her and continue the relationship with your boyfriend if you really love him.

- 27 not necessarily true. 2 of my ex's mums hated me because I have tags and piercings. Even before they had met me they hated me. Besides OP, it's a good thing. Everyone wants to go out with that person their mum doesn't approve of.

sounds like a start to a normal relationship. my mom didn't like my girlfriend at first. you are taking her baby boy away from her being the new woman in his life. so when you have a real fml op post that not this. this is normal

33, how is it irrelevant? Any relationship is more difficult when their parents hate you. How about you go back to insulting the people who actually care if they're first?

Well OP, you ARE from New York...

By DEFAULT, you have to show up to show your driver's license (that you are NOT from New Jersey), and so they can see you are not a skank, loser, and scumbag.

Not necessarily anything bad. My last boyfriend's mother thought pretty much the same about me, purely because he mentioned to her that I had my lip pierced and that I was taking a year off from university. She decided that meant I was a terrible person and a bad influence on her son, without ever meeting me or learning anything else about me.

assumptions! im sorry about that, where is she getting those ideas? is there any way you could act (without pretending to be a new person) when you meet her?

but honestly, if she doesn't know you and is saying shit bout you, don't take it too personally. she must be bitter.
