- 27 not necessarily true. 2 of my ex's mums hated me because I have tags and piercings. Even before they had met me they hated me. Besides OP, it's a good thing. Everyone wants to go out with that person their mum doesn't approve of.

Not necessarily anything bad. My last boyfriend's mother thought pretty much the same about me, purely because he mentioned to her that I had my lip pierced and that I was taking a year off from university. She decided that meant I was a terrible person and a bad influence on her son, without ever meeting me or learning anything else about me.
