Today, I found my concert tickets that I've been trying to find for the last 2 weeks in my mom's closet. When I asked why she had them, she said she felt the concert was inappropriate for me so she hid them. I'm 20. FML

Sorry to say, but some of you people are absolutely ridiculous. How is this person lame for living at home? How is it their fault that their mom took their tickets? It IS possible that they are in college. It IS possible that this is the first incident of that kind with their mother. It sounds like most of you are trying too hard to sound cool on a website. Of all the places in the world that I've lived, I love my mom's the best. And yes, I'm 24. Big ******* deal.

If you want to live at home, fine. But if you don't like how your parents treat you then it's time to move out. Also, stay out of your mom's closet.

Moms are always going to protective of their kids, but at 20 THAT is sad.

wow, it is incredible how many people are saying to move out. **** that, i'm livin with my parents til i get outta college at least. **** being out by twenty. but that is ridiculous. good luck hittin up more shows

@OP YDI for spending $300 on a concert, can be better used if you have to live with your parents for reasons other than going to college @ you people that say that it is lame or whatever crap to be 20 and living with your parents, obviously don't go to college. I'm 18 and a sophomore in college and not one of those spoiled rich kids. I live at home during the summers (live in dorm during school year) I work (yes I help with bills). The only way I am even going though college is with scholarships, grants, etc (no help from parents, they can't afford it) so an apartment is not really a possibility. As soon as I have a good paying job obtained by having a college degree I will of course get an apartment, but until then STFU. @72 - it doesn't take that long to type a paragraph dumba$$, and it's a good way to vent

All this shit about moving out, being able to live alone if you can afford concerts etc.. How do you know what his situation is? He may have just lost a job and his parents are allowed him to stay at theirs whilst he gets back on his feet.. Maybe hes struggling to find a place that fits within his budget.. Or maybe, just maybe..he isn't actually ready to move out yet.....Just because hes 18+ doesnt mean that he has to ******* move out straight away.. But, OP..why on earth did you look in your moms closet? Bit of a secrecy thing with women and all in their closets :
