But it is society that decides what size is 'acceptable' When my Mum was young size 10 (uk) was considered slim now it is considered by many to be a large size. Many people do now say that perfectly healthy sized people are fat because they are not size 4 or less.

#82 My point is that she may not actually be fat. Some people think a size 4 or 6 is "fat", when in reality it's a perfectly healthy size. She just may not be a total stick person, but that doesn't necessarily equate to her being obese.

If they were best friends, then she knew how he felt about HER. Usually, if he's her best friend, he likes her. Maybe this is what she thought. Though it could be different if he is her best friend but she is not HIS best friend.
